Help us celebrate our deep roots in the communities we report from and our deep roots in the media landscape -- 10 years and 10,000 voices on the air!

Nourish these deep roots this spring and help us grow a strong tree of independent media. We want 100 donors to contribute $10 or more per month, helping FSRN stay strong throughout the year.

If you contribute $50 (or $5/month), we can send you a DVD of Howard Zinn & Friends reading selections from Voices of a People's History of the United States. For a contribution of $75 (or $7/month), you can get a striking FSRN t-shirt.  And for a contriubtion of $120 (or $10/month), we'll send you both!

Here are some examples of what your gift to FSRN supports:

• $2,400 "Sustainer" donation pays the entire cost of a day's production
• $1,200 pays for half the cost of one of our daily newscasts
• $900 rewards a reporter's in-depth documentary, examining the re-segregation of American schools over the last two decades
• $680 pays a reporter for four sensitive, on-the-ground features about the human costs of the conflict in Gaza
• $450 buys airfare to Port-au-Prince, Haiti for important coverage of the slow pace of aid reaching those in need
  
• $250 covers the cost of one day's headlines package, heard at the top of each newscast
• $175 keeps FSRN.org online for a month, making the newscast available to people without a community radio station in their area
• $80 pays for critical analysis of Washington politics to help you make sense of the byzantine legislative process.
  
• $50 pays for a "voice of the people" segment from outside the Copenhagen climate change talks
