Leilani Albano is a long- time news writer with KPFK radio and regular contributor to Pacifica Radio-distributed programs Free Speech Radio News and Workers Independent News. She began as a volunteer in the front desk at the LA-station 7 years ago and has since worked in the news department filing news stories and anchoring for the midday and evening news. Albano graduated from UCLA with a bachelor’s degree in Asian American Studies.
