Emmanuel Okella is a 30 year-old citizen of Uganda. He holds a Journalism degree with a focus in broadcast media in addition to 7 years of experience in broadcast news. Emmanuel currently works as News Editor at Radio Simba in Uganda and is an East Africa correspondent for Free Speech Radio News. He covers politics, health, environmental and social issues. Emmanuel has accomplished numerous news projects and in 2004, was honored to receive an award from the United States Kampala embassy for best radio reporting on environmental issues in Uganda.
Joshua Kyalimpa is an independent radio journalist and producer based in Kampala, Uganda. He covers Africa's Great Lakes region including Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, DR Congo, Rwanda, Sudan and has regular contacts with Somalia. He is the managing director of OPSETT MEDIA LTD, a Uganda-registered media company specialising in media conslultancy, production of radio and TV features and documentaries. Joshua also chairs a steering commitee to set up Africa Public Radio to produce radio programs for and about Africa to be syndicated on different radio stations across the continent and beyond.
