TEHRAN RALLY
Iran's controversial president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad attended a massive demonstration in Tehran today. The anti-Israel march has become an annual event in Tehran to mark the final Friday of Ramadan. Ahmadinejad drew worldwide criticism for his statement this week that Israel should be "wiped off the map". This year's rally reportedly drew between 200 thousand and one million people.

FOOD-FOR-OIL REPORT
Over 2000 companies have been implicated in wrongdoing during the Food for oil program. This, according to a report presented today at the United Nations. The program allowed the Saddam Hussein regime to sell oil in order to purchase humanitarian items during the years of economic sanctions. Today's report - the result of an exhaustive probe - found that the Hussein regime received approximately 1.8 billion dollars in kickbacks and surcharges during the Food-for-Oil program.

UNSC ON HARIRI REPORT
The United Nations Security Council met today to discuss the now-famous report on the assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri. Syria's ambassador to the UN compared the accusations of a Syrian hand in the assassination to charges of involvement by the U.S. authorities in the September 11th terrorist attacks. The United States and France are expected to author a joint resolution calling on Syria to cooperate with further investigations. The interim report - released last week - implicates a number of high-ranking Lebanese and Syrian officials in Hariri's assassination. A final version of the report is due out on December 15th.

EXPLOSION'S AT PALESTINE HOTEL
At least 20 people are reportedly dead after three massive car bombs exploded outside of the Palestine Hotel in Baghdad today. The hotel is used as a base of operations for numerous foreign journalists. Although there are no fatalities reported inside of the hotel, the building was damaged in the series of explosions.
SHOOTING IN TULKAREM
An assassination in a West Bank refugee camp could complicate Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas's efforts to demobilize Palestinian armed groups. Manar Jibrin reports from the West Bank.

HARIRI ASSASSINATION REPORT
A United Nations team of investigators submitted their findings today in the case of the assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri. Hariri was killed in February by a massive car bomb in Beirut. A number of powerful Syrian officials were interviewed during the investigation and many suspect some sort of Syrian involvement in Hariri's murder. The report will not be made public until the UN Security Council has had a chance to review it.
GUARDIAN REPORTER KIDNAPPED
An Irish journalist working for a London-based newspaper has become the latest foreign press worker to be kidnapped in Iraq. Anatasia Kershaw reports from London.
